collage attached and mixed media.

Playful Facade in Mexico

This is a more colorful technique using rice paper collage than I normally use. I was pleased with the results of this new format.

Gold Flowers

This painting is done on a piece of handmade paper and has no rice paper collage. The handmade paper has a very rough texture and therefore creates some unusal interest.

Ukranian church

This is a Ukranian church in Canada. It is a small piece and has some gold acrylic brushed over the top with highlights of silver marker.

Yangtze River Cruise

This painting was done after a trip to China and a cruise on the Yangtze River. The banks were beautifully terraced. It is acrylic on rice paper collage with a light wash of gesso on top.

Doorway - San Jose Mission, San Antonio

This small painting is strictly watercolor and is the doorway in front of the San Jose Mission in San Antonio, Texas.

Street Scene

This is a small painting of a street scene. There is a church in the background and some people are in the square. I used some gold acrylic and glass beads again to create more texture.

Wedding Chapel

This painting has a lot of gold acrylic and some medium of glass beads that make all the texture.

Parroquia San Miguel de Allende

This painting is of the facade of the Parroquia in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I used rice paper collage and many colors caran d'arche (French crayon).

This facade is on canvas and with rice paper collage and ink. It is of the cathedral in Florence, Italy.
